MACIEJ gawel: Lech Poznan new Polish champion. Do I need to treat this as a surprise, or rather as a great sensation?

Dariusz Dziekanowski: I think it’s more a great sensation. After a good game in the autumn, after winning the Europa League group, we were confident that Legia experience and will become increasingly better team that these players will be more and more present in the league and individually, and as a team. And in the spring they presented very poorly. They squandered the advantage they had after the autumn round. The fact that there were some rotations, that at the time did not play the best team, was dismissive of fans.

 

MG: A Lech Poznan is a master of “full blown” or rather one-eyed king among the blind, the team the best of the weak?

 

DD: they were very determined. They had regular contact with reality, the appropriate approach to the league. Lech despite the fact that he lost in the final of Polish Cup with Legia, it presented very well, and the next league match at Legia won and it is not by chance, but showing very offensive game. Legia after the autumn round forget that there is still half a year, and to win the league you have to play better and better. They were probably looking ahead to the next season and a Champions League qualifying. They committed a very big mistakes. Even if that matches with Ajax before leaving Radovici finalized, which should remain at the club for another two or three years and should have celebrity status. I believe that if the then heads of the club gave him a very good contract and resigned from these two million, they got for it from the Chinese, I think it would have come in this much better.
