After the match, PGE GKS – Legion (0: 3) said:
 
  Henning Berg (coach of Legia Warsaw): I am very happy with this victory. We knew good and the hosts knew that this is a team that loses little goals and this season is not lost yet at home. For 25 minutes, the match was difficult for us and GKS had their situations, but we defended well. Later we took the initiative in the second half of the difference in the game, both teams were already very visible.
 

– We played a good game, kreowaliśmy game and we were successful. Win this stadium has also for this reason that we lost in the first round of the rival. The best player of the match was certainly Ondrej Duda, but I’m most excited appearance Helio Pinto. On the positive side also showed Orlando Sa and Jakub Kosecki. It is a pity that the latter before the end of the match injured.
 

Kamil Kiereś (PGE GKS Belchatow coach): “You have to congratulate the Legion to get the three points. It’s our first defeat of the season at home. We have been preparing for this match angle with making surprises, which quietly hoped for. The period of the loss of the first goal was very good in our performance. We implemented tactical assumptions, played aggressively and had a lot of acceptances, which we translated to the offensive actions. Oddawaliśmy a row, which, however, were inaccurate.
 

– The course of the match changed the situation prior to loss goal. The referee whistled for a foul on Vrdoljaku, and for a moment this was a corner, after which overlapped made mistakes and conceded. In my opinion, no offense to Vrdoljaku was. After losing a goal the team went out for a while. We had not been so aggressive and before the break we lost the second goal. With such a result is hard to play with such a class team like Legia, but no one break your head bowed. We wanted to continue to play as at the beginning of the meeting, but we ran out of money. Legia played consistently, gained self-confidence and well-operated ball. The result was the third goal. Now we need to find points in three games that are left to us by the end of this part of the competition.
