Zakopane no World Cup competitions in ski jumping? – Polish Radio

The International Ski Federation (FIS) presented the draft calendar Jumping World Cup season 2016/17. It has no competition in Zakopane, because the United Rafter is not yet required certificate.


 

In the presented during the meeting in Zurich calendar included only one event in Poland – Wisla. The competition is to be held on January 12 just after the Four Hills Tournament.


 

Two successive deadlines – 14 and January 15 – are free. Bearing with them a note that Zakopane not have the required certificate, which expires in December 2016 year. These documents are usually issued for five years.


 

According to the director of COS Olympic Training Center in Zakopane Jack Bartlewicza not approach the capital of the Polish Tatra mountains in the calendar when expires the approval of the United Krokiew is no exception, and generally used by the FIS rule.

 

– Of course the autumn of 2016 years to apply for a certificate and I am convinced that without any problem get it. The preliminary cost of the project is estimated at about 5 million – he said.


 

The 2016/17 season is expected to begin on 19 November in the German Titisee-Neustadt and end on March 26 in Planica.

 

On the other hand, in the Summer Grand Prix 2016 to be held two competitions in Wisla – 22 and 23 July. Buried in the plans does not exist.
