World Cup in Trondheim ninth victory of Peter Prevc, excellent performance by Andrzej Stękały – Onet.pl

After nieodbytym contest in Oslo jumpers remained in Norway and on Tuesday began the training and qualification of pre-competition World Cup in Trondheim. Poland was represented by six players – Kamil Stoch, Maciej Kot, Stefan Hula, Andrew groaned, Dawid Kubacki and Bartholomew Kłusek. Lukasz Kruczek’s men rose to the occasion – all obtained qualification. In particular, the reasons for satisfaction were Kamil Stoch and Dawid Kubacki. Sochi Olympic champion finished second, a jumper Vistula Zakopane third place.

trial was a display of Norwegians. The best was Johann Andre Forfang, who received 136 m. Right behind him ranked Kenneth Gangnes and Anders Fannemel. This time the Poles delighted. Top has been classified Stefan Hula, who gave a jump on 122.5 m and finished 22nd. Slightly worse presented Andrzej Stekala (119.5 m, 23) and Kamil Stoch (121 m, 25). Totally messed Maciej Kot (115.5 m, 33) and Bartholomew Kłusek (112.5 m, 39.).

the first Pole in the first series of the competition was Bartholomew Kłusek. His attempt was not very good, and the 118.5 meter gave him third place after five jumps. Finally ended the competition at the 39th spot. In the next part of the competition on the beam they appeared Andrew groaned and Dawid Kubacki. The first jumped 131 meters and this result gave him the lead in the competition. Leaping just after Kubacki reached a distance half a meter higher, but lost to a colleague of representation by 0.7 points. Finally Kubacki was ninth, eighth and groaning.

Very little went two successive Polish representatives. Both Maciej Kot and Stefan Hula landed just before the 120 metro. The latter had worse conditions and therefore was classified in fifteenth place. The cat was three positions below. After the first series of Hula was on the 38th position, and the cat on 41. investment. The last of Poles Kamil Stoch. The leader of our team jumped 127 meters and this result allowed him to be on the 25th place.

Best of the first series was Peter Prevc. Slovenia jumped 135 meters and six points ahead of Daniel-Andre Tande. Norwegian jumped two meters away. The same distance as Prevc reached Stefan Kraft, who was classified in third place.

In the second series as the first Pole Kamil Stoch jumped. 119.5 meter does not give him hope, however, to maintain the position occupied after the first jump. Finally, the competition finished in 28th place. In the second part of the competition jumping Dawid Kubacki and Andrew groaned. The former reached 127 meters, and the second landed half a meter away. Finally Kubacki finished 13th and groaning was sixth and the first time was in the top ten of the World Cup.

Best in Trondheim was a Slovenian Peter Prevc that in the second series jumped 132 meters. Second place went to Austrian Stefan Kraft, and the third was Noriaki Kasai. Japanese jumped 143 meters and was the best distance of the day.

Now the jumpers are waiting three competitions in Vikersund. Competition in ski flying is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
