World League: historic success of France. Serbs shattered in the final – Polish Radio

                             Poland lost to Rio de Janeiro with the United States 0: 3 (22:25, 23:25, 23:25) and took fourth place in the World League volleyball. Players Stephane Antiga did not rise after losing the battle for the final.
                         

On Friday Poles lost the tie-break with the French and had to accept the fact that this year’s World League finals will go to them near the nose. On Sunday, instead of gold, they had to fight for bronze.

The beginning of the match disturbingly like a Friday start – Poles could not find the right rhythm, smooth lost two sets. This is the third consecutive defeat world champions who in the last group match succumbed to the Serbs 2: 3, and the French semi-final 2: 3. It was known that the US is very uncomfortable rival for our team, but perhaps no one expected that the defeat will be so painful.
