The Athletics World Championships: Wojciechowski and Lisek with bronze medals in the pole vault – Interia

We have more medals in track and field world championships! Pawel Wojciechowski and Piotr Lisek reached for bronze medals! Together with them on the podium able surefire favorite Renaud Lavillenie competition. Sensational winner was 21-year-old Shawnacy Barber.

For the finals the pole vault qualified three Poles: Paul Wojciechowski Piotr Lisek and Robert Sober. Big favorite was the Frenchman Renaud Lavillenie, who in a rich collection of titles missed the gold medal of the World Cup.

For Barber and Holzdeppe 6 meters was impossible. World champion was 21-year-old Canadian, because they defeated the height of 5.90 in the first attempt. This is the biggest success of his career Barbera.

On Sunday the gold medal in the hammer throw won Paweł Fajdek. After Brown reached Wojciech Nowicki.
