- We all believed in me and success of Polish cycling. I felt great from the start, but even more motivated me back eight of my colleagues, who rode in the front and fought for me. When I was 300 meters from the finish, I knew that I win – said shortly after landing at Okecie airport in Warsaw cycling world champion Michal Kwiatkowski. On Sunday
in the Spanish Ponferrada ‘Flower’ picked up the gold medal in the road race in common, thus becoming the first Pole, who can boast the title of the professional cycling world champion.
