Volleyball World Cup: Poland – Brazil 3: 1. White-red best in the world
Polish volleyball for the second time in history won the gold medal in the world championships. It is special because it was captured during the RBS tournament in Poland. In the finale of “White-Red” beat Brazil 3: 1.

MIROSŁAW Przedpełski: Exactly. I can not believe it all worked out. It’s hard to even be attached to something, because some people are always looking for holes throughout. This is something wonderful, and I see that it is worth the sacrifice, it is worth to have visions, ideas and dreams. Dreams come true. You just have to work hard and create a group of people, it was a basic thing. Established the chemistry between the team, activists and the whole team of people, which creates a Polish volleyball. We all feel that this is something great and do a joint venture. We knew it all has to work in sports and organized and it worked. It was difficult to squander such an opportunity, as the championship in Poland, and not get the championship.
TG: I do not know whether to look back and dwell on these great successes or maybe in front? Because the question, what will that do to you is the most appropriate.
MP: I think it will be possible to build a strong discipline for many years. Young people need an example, role models and heroes, and we show that it can be done. We have no problems for the call, but I think now it will be even easier and we have therefore even healthier society. Maybe we’ll even 400 or 500 schools, which taught the retina, because this sport brings joy and for arable and viewers. I think a lot of people who viewed themselves playing volleyball. Let a bunch of you will be getting bigger.
TG: You are aware that the environment volleyball wrote the story?
MP: Something magnificent. What more can you ask for? The most I am pleased that we have shown not only Poland, but also the whole world. We know that the retina is not the most popular sport, and now has a chance to jump a few levels higher. I think people believe that this sport can do something good global and I hope that we will be treated with, and to do it because I love volleyball and I think it is a cool sport. Poland was not yet in this situation, so that we as Poles “pulled” some sport, and now it is. All those who organized the world championships in Poland can teach others how it should be done.
TG: You say that there is no hole in the whole, there is only one problem – now expectations will be much higher
MP: I remember, as president of Brazil told me that is not a problem to get, but to maintain the level. This is the biggest problem, because now the expectations will be higher, now you need to win the championship games, but I like challenges. The team atmosphere is such that there is no gwiazdorzenia and looks only at the team that is most important, it did Stephan Antiga. I felt that this was lacking so far. Sports level of our staff is not much higher, but the atmosphere and mentality in the team is better.
TG: You should grant a bonus to come up with Stephan Antiga, because it turned out to be a hit .
MP: I believed in him and we all believed that it is a good idea. I called after the idea for Arthur Popki or other people, and said something in it, that unless we actually need! It was not important that Antiga had no coaching experience, was Philippe Blain, who is completed. He was very much helped Stephan in these difficult moments. We all had a goal to prove something. And yet the National Stadium – showed that the retina can be a sport for seventy thousand people. I am very happy.
