The authorities of the National Stadium at noon today announced that the Polish Energy Group is the title sponsor of the Warsaw stadium – reported Radio ZET. – Whether at the stadium name appears in the National Stadium, PGE or PGE National Stadium, does not matter. It is important that it will be sponsoring probably the most expensive contract in history – says Mariusz Gierszewski, a reporter for Radio Zet.

Portal Sport.pl claims that a contract can sing up to 40 million zł.

PGE previously was a sponsor the titular PGE Arena in Gdansk. The contract just expired.

The National Stadium was built for the Euro 2012 football tournament played in Poland and Ukraine. His attendance record is 63,000 spectators – as many watched last year’s world championship match in volleyball Poland – Serbia.
