The first time the referee Deniz Aytekin German footballers sent two teams to the locker room after the incident in the first minute when the visitors’ keeper Igor Akinfeev was hit with a thrown Raca stands. The Russian was taken to hospital with a concussion and neck burns. The meeting resumed after approx. 35 minutes. After completing the first half of the break lasted much longer than the usual quarter.

At approx. 20 minutes before the end of the regular playing time, at 0: 0, there was a scuffle between players of both teams, probably due to the behavior of fans, who threw the pitch various items. The judge again ordered the two teams going down to the locker room, but this time the meeting has not resumed.

UEFA decision means that the game is declared the winner by Russia 3: 0. In addition, Montenegro will have to pay a fine of 50,000 euros and play one game in the role of the host without audience participation. The penalty for the next meeting was suspended for two years.

About half the fine imposed on the Russian Federation in connection with the inappropriate behavior of fans.
