The former president of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), Lamine Diack, who held this position in the years 1999-2015, is also a suspect in the case. French prosecutor’s office accuses him of corruption and money laundering.

Russian Ministry of Sport, in turn, believes that the report WADA is a lot of inaccurate information. “There is a great difference between what was given, and the facts and evidence” – said in a statement.

In early December, due to be taken are also IOC Executive Board. It has to be decided not only on the start of Russian athletes for the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, but also to be examined results from previous Olympics.

Athletes from other countries are beginning to insist on granting medals, which received the athletes from Russia.
