Jumping World Cup: last contest in Sapporo with six Poles – Interia

Three Slovenes Peter Prevc Domain Prevc Robert Kranjec took all the podium in Saturday’s World Cup competition in ski jumping. The best of the Polish team was Maciej Kot, who took 14th place, four “White-red” qualified for the final round, and Clement Muranka was disqualified.

The first of the “White-red” presented by Andrzej groaning. He jumped 114 meters and received a score of 107.3 points, which gave him 32. place.

Behind him on the beam was to appear Muranka, but did not see a Pole, because it was disqualified because of an incorrect suit.

The last of the Poles in the first series Kamil Stoch. Two-time Olympic champion, but jumped only 121 meters, got 121.6 points and occupied the 20th position.

A very long in the first place remained Robert Kranjec. Slovenia jumped up to 131.5 m and led with a score of 141.4 points.

ahead of his compatriot Peter Prevc only. The leader of the overall World Cup also jumped 131.5 meters, but received a higher note – 147 points, including a strong lead.

In general the podium after the first round were Slovenian, because third place was taken by Domen Prevc (129.5 m / 141 points).

A second series began, of course, Kubacki. Reached 121.5 m and its final note stood at 235.2 points, moving up to 27th place.

Better Hula presented itself. He jumped two meters away and with a score of 248.7 points took the lead. The Pole was promoted thanks to up to seven seats, taking 18.

Stoch in his second attempt to reach the 122 I got 246.7 points, keeping the 20th position.

Hula ahead of only 17th after the first round Norwegian Joachim Hauer (123.5 m / 252.5 points). For a while in the lead he relieved him Takeuchi, who jumped up to 130 meters and received a final score of 264.8 points.

The cat was not able to overtake the Japanese, but presented himself well again (125.5 m / 256 points ) and remained in 14th place.

Tekeuchiego on running relieved Roman Koudelka. Czech Republic jumped 131 meters and got a final score of 270.5 points.

A player from Turnova not nacieszył however long liderowaniem, for even better presented himself Noriaki Kasai. 43-year-old Japanese man has reached up to 133.5 m and a total received 277.3 points.

Kasai should overtake Severnin Freund. Germany jumped as much as the Japanese, but collapsed on landing, which cost him a lot of points from the judges and fall into the second decade.

The leader has changed, however, after a second attempt Kenneth Gangnes. Norwegian reached 131.5 m, ahead of Kasai of the point.

Do not disappoint Domain Prevc. The Slovene for a jump of 134.5 meters got a final score of 282.8 points and was the first. Just behind him is Kranjec, who reached the final round of the 131 meters, losing to compatriot 0.9 points.

The winner of Saturday’s contest was Peter Prevc. The leader of the World Cup at the second attempt he jumped up to 136.5 m, yielding a total of 299 points.

Peter Prevc won the eighth victory of the season and with 1,184 points is leading the general classification.
