This turn of events gives even the Legion of hope, the favorable verdict, to return to fight for the group stage of the Champions League . The Court of Arbitration issued a statement in which it informs that the matter of the appeal of the Legion of UEFA’s decision to take an accelerated procedure and will end next Monday. At the same time CAS announced that the Legion
requests a stay of execution of sentence pending a full hearing. Therefore, the Court wants to do so without delay, to deliver a verdict before the start of the next round of the tournament qualifying for the Champions League.
