Swiss Roger Federer defeated Andy Murray British (8) 6: 3, 7: 5 tennis tournament in the quarter-finals of ATP World Tour Masters 1000 on hard courts in Cincinnati (prize money 3.35 million.). His rival in the battle for the final Milos Raonic will be in Canada.
Federer has a chance to sixth victory in these competition; previously triumphed in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012.
The final Swiss player will play Canadian Milos Raonic (5), which won no problems with the Italian Fabio Fogninim (15) 6: 1, 6 : 0.
In the second semi-final Julien Benneteau gets (France) and Spaniard David Ferrer (6).
Jerzy Janowicz was eliminated in the 1/8 finals, after losing in straight sets with Benneteau.
