Volleyball World Cup 2015: Poles in the first set went with Argentina tango (LIVE) – Polish Radio

                             Twelve teams will fight in Japan in the World Cup volleyball. The prize for the best will be two places in the Olympic tournament in Rio de Janeiro.
                         

Each team within 16 days will play 11 games in the meantime, twice changing the place of residence.

Among the 12 teams there is no Brazilians, who were Olympic hosts do not have to fight for qualification. Among the participants, amongst others missing winners of this year’s World League – the French and Serbs, but will play for example. The Russians, Americans, Iranians and Italians.

At the inauguration of a team coach Stephane Antiga face with Tunisia. The next day, the Olympic champion Russia, and on Thursday from Argentina. In Hamamatsu after the break they will compete even with Iran and Venezuela. Later, white and red team will move to Toyama matches with Canada, Egypt and Australia. In Tokyo, where they will go all the teams will play the US, Japan and Italy. The event will end on 23 September.

So far hosted the 12th edition of the World Cup. The first in 1965 was held in Warsaw, and Polish volleyball took her second place. Later, they played even in 1969, 1977 and 1981, was ranked – respectively eighth and twice fourth. Four years ago, again they found themselves in second place – behind the Russians. Since 1977, the tournament takes place exclusively in Japan.
