The President recalled the 2016 athletes will face many challenges, among which are the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Poland will host several important events, including European championship handball players, the final tournament of the World League volleyball and ice hockey world championships 1A.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Sport and President Witold Bubble Polish Olympic Committee Andrzej Kraśnicki. There were also numerous representatives of many disciplines.
