Four Hills Tournament will be held this year on December 28th – January 6th. For many athletes is the most important event of the season. The specific formula of competitions, which in the first round competition takes place in pairs (KO system), makes the tournament is unique and challenging. On the space of just ten days they take place until four contests. Polish fans will keep their fingers crossed for the return of Kamil Stoch to high mold.
– In this sport just one good jump and again, everything can start a great place. Kamil in some trials showed that these best out of the players not missing him so much. It only takes a greater reproducibility, because good jumps far too often interwoven with those unsuccessful – says Adam Malysz, an expert Eurosport. Eagle of the Vistula is of the opinion that the most important will be the beginning of the tournament.
– everything will be decided in Oberstdorf, where you can immediately, in the first competition, lose the chance of winning the tournament. If there he fails, it will remain to fight for good results in the individual competitions. Paradoxically, spisanemu already some losses Kamil can now be easier to succeed than the favorites are – Malysz added.
The biggest candidate for victory in the next edition of TCS is a leader in the overall World Cup Peter Prevc.
– wonders me if Slovenia can cope with the pressure, which creates around him. Already speculated whether he could repeat the feat Sven Hannawald and win all four competitions included in the tournament, and it can trim Prevcowi wings. Dangerous will also be representatives of Germany and Austria, at least in individual competitions because, after jumping at home.
