Two years ago the hill was happy for the Poles, as Jan Ziobro won here and Kamil Stoch. Last year, our athletes went to Switzerland without a leader Polish team and did a very average. On Friday they held qualifications. With seven groups of Poles to compete in Saturday promoted the contest received six of our players. The second was Stoch. Promote not only succeeded Maciej Kot.
In addition to the main competition Stoch also see Stefan Hula, Peter vein , Clement Muranka David Kubacki and Andrew groaned. The latter jumped to the second session until 130.5 meters. In the qualifying competition he did not go quite as well. World Cup debutant 20-year-old received only 115.5 meters, but gave him a promotion from the penultimate place.
Best in training before Saturday’s competition was Kenneth Gangnes of Norway, who jumped 136 meters. He was followed by Andreas Wellinger German and Austrian Michael Hayboeck. Both reached after 135 meters. With the Poles, the best was Andrew groaned, who took sixth place. The remaining Poles, with the exception of Peter Veins (40th place), took place in the second and third top ten.

Finally, groaning first series ended on the twenty-first place. The second of Poles Dawid Kubacki, had a very difficult and jumped only 120 meters. This gave him seventh place and a small chance of qualifying for the second round. Eventually he found himself on the thirty-fifth.
A little later, Clement jumped Muranka, but 118 meters did not give big the hope of promotion. Despite the high amounts of added points Pole was in thirteenth place, in the end, was ranked forty-first place. Shortly after Peter sat on the beam vein, but his attempt was even worse. 115.5 subway meant that certainly will not score points, and the rivalry ended at its forty-fifth position.
Another of our players was Stefan Hula. He jumped 125.5 meters, which gave him seventh position and confident in the second round. After the first jumps was on the twenty-fourth. Top of Polish players did a leader of our staff. Kamil Stoch jumped 130.5 meters and this test gave him third place. In the remainder of the contest moved down the classification and eventually found himself in ninth place.
Best after the first the series was Peter Prevc from Slovenia, which is by almost thirteen points ahead of Richard Freitag from Germany. In third place was classified Domains Prevc.
In the second series the first of our athletes Stefan Hula. Experienced rider jumped 126 meters, which gave him second behind Johann Andre Forfangiem. Later, however, he lost this position and the contest finished in twenty-second position. Soon after, Andrew jumped groaned, but 122 meters did not allow him to improve their position. After his attempt was seventh, and the entire competition ended on the twenty-seventh place.
Very badly wrote in the second series of Kamil Stoch. Pole he was a good ninth place, but then jumped only 118 meters, which was the worst result in the second round and dropped to twelfth place. Successive players do not have any problems ahead of the leader of our staff and this ended the contest twentieth place.
The whole contest Slovenia won the Peter Prevc, ahead of his brother domain. This is the first such situation in history. At the podium stood Noriaki Kasai, who thus improved its own record for the player’s age on the podium. Japanese achieved this, with 43 years 6 months and 13 days. In the second round all three of them jumped after 134 meters.
The next competition on the hill in Engelberg will be held on Sunday .
