World Cup in Willingen: 9 teams entered in the team competition (start list) – skijumping.pl

ahead of us this season, second in the World Cup team competition. Muehlenkopfschanze on the hill (HS145) in Willingen occurs nine teams, including the Polish national team. The beginning of the trial round at 17.00, while the competition – at 18:00.

Among the nine teams that gets in today’s contest is the Polish national team. Our team will present itself in Willingen in an experimental squad, made up entirely of players cadre B. The first will present James Free, followed by Andrew groaned. For both our athletes Saturday’s race team will debut in World Cup competition. In the third group White-Reds will be represented by Maciej Kot, the last jump will be Stefan Hula, who, in 2011, stood on the podium of team competition in Willingen.

Favorite to win in Willingen team. The German jumpers from Severin Freund headed will want to achieve victory in front of their home crowd. Their biggest opponents are teams of Norway and Austria. About podium certainly will compete for Slovenians from dominator past few weeks, Peter Prevc.

In the history in Willingen played 14 World Cup team competitions. Most often, as much as four times triumphed on Muehlenkopfschanze Austrians (2002, 2007, 2009, 2011). Last object is, however, particularly favorable for the representation of Slovenia, who won the last two contests in Willingen Team (2013, 2015). Only twice in the victory in this village enjoyed the hosts – in jednoseryjnych competitions in 2005, during which serious-looking fall scored Alexander Herr, and in 2010, when victory “gave” them Bjoern Einar Romoeren, his short final jump burying Norwegians chances to triumph.

The Polish team once stood on the podium of the World Cup team competition in Willingen. January 29, 2011 year the team composed of Kamil Stoch and Piotr vein, Stefan Hula and Adam Malysz took third place behind teams from Austria and Germany.

In a World Cup season has already been played Team competitions on the hill in Klingenthal. Germany took the top honors in front of Slovenians and Austrians. The Polish team took seventh place. How will this time?

Unfortunately, meteorologists do not have very good news related to Saturday’s team competition. In time the competition is expected southerly wind with an average speed of 4-5 m / s. The air temperature is to be 0 ° C. We hope that, as was the case on Friday, despite not the best forecasts will be no problems to play all the planned series.

Muehlenkopfschanze official hill record is 152 meters. So far during the World Cup in Willingen Finland’s Janne Ahonen soared in 2005 and nine years later Slovenian Jurij Tepes.
