On Saturday at the Convention Center was a great series - in five attempts to obtain a distance of more than 21 m. In the last reached 21.78 and this is the best result this year in the world, as well as indoor record for New Zealand.

On Thursday Bukowiecki, junior world champion of 2014 celebrated its 19th birthday. The team red and white wished him that he made a gift and stood on the podium. And it was close. Missing 34 cm - so much better was the third in a competition Croat Filip Mihaljevic. The silver medal won unexpectedly Romanian Andrei Gag - 20.89.

In 2004, the Indoor World Cups in Budapest Tomasz Majewski took fourth place ...; Four years later he won Olympic gold in Beijing. But this story is not really appealed to Bukowiecki. Polish runner (March 6 received in Torun 20.37) did not hide his disappointment and he was angry at himself .....

"I am upset because I had two thrusts in the line of 21 meters. Unfortunately, it was not important. I could be here, even the silver medal. All through my stupidity. Why should I look for the push ?! I'm the fourth kind I should be happy, but ... it's not. I guess I have to gain experience "- shook his head dissatisfied.

Much worse mood had Haratyk that on February 5 the result of 21.35 won the competition Pedro's Cup in Lodz. This is the third in the history of this competition results in Poland after Majewski and Edward Sarulu.

"I do not know what went wrong. I felt today badly, were catching me cramp. Competed 19 players on his attempt I waited probably 20 minutes. Could not, but I hope that this experience will pay off. season started very strongly, I did not expect that the form would come so quickly. We learn from the coach to hit in the future with the form at the most important event "- said the 23-year-old Haratyk coming from a small village near Kiczyce Skoczowa. Bullet also pushed his older brother Luke, who repeatedly won the Polish junior championship, and was also runner-country young riders.

"Unfortunately, Luke had to quit the sport because I was not of this money, and he had to support the family. He was a prison guard. On the other hand I advised what to do grandmother, who today is also my main sponsor. when I pushed 21.35 in Lodz, immediately called and congratulated "- mentioned.

The final competition for the 400 m promoted Justin St. (AZS AWF Katowice). In his semi-final was the second - 53.00. Failed while Margaret Holub (Baltic Koszalin), which in the second, much stronger series, had a better time - 52.73, but placed fifth.

"If I ran the first series - would be in the final. I fought to the end and I feel that I am very well prepared. It's an optimistic sign ahead of a relay. These are the world championships, girls know, after what we came" - Holub stressed.

60 m semi-final finished performance in the competition Remigiusz Olszewski. Sprinter AXIS AZS Poznan received on the same day twice (earlier in qualifying) time of 6.71. The finale was considered the favorite Asafa Powell. However, the Jamaican had a weaker reaction runway and caught Trayvon Bromell, who quickly came out of the block. The American won result of 6.47.

At a very high level players jumped into the distance, and at the same time created a thrilling spectacle for the audience. Ivana Španović and Brittney Reese changed the lead almost after each series. Eventually distance 7.22 won to the great joy of fellow American, a Serb got the silver for the result 7.07.

On Saturday evening the Polish time with the white-and-red team run after qualifying 60 m Agata Forkasiewicz (AZS AWF Wroclaw) and Marika Popovich-Drapała (CWZS Zawisza Bydgoszcz SL).
