Footballer represent Honduras Arnold Peralta was shot dead by unknown assailants in the parking lot in front of the mall in Ceibie. He was 26 years old. Police investigating the case, is not yet known motive of the crime. Towards the victim was given a few shots.

The body footballer was found by random people. Police rule out murder motives of robbery, because Peralta was carrying any valuables – said the newspaper “El Heraldo”.

Peralta last played in local club Olimpia. Previously he played in the Scottish Glasgow Rangers. In 2011 he made his debut in the national team, and a year later he took part in the Olympics in London.

Region where the body was found a player is known for its active drug cartels. Local gangs and smugglers are in Honduras are known for their cruelty, and the number of crimes indicates that this is one of the most dangerous regions in the world.
