The charges of Kim Rasmussen closed Madziarkom way to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. No wonder that the Hungarian burned with lust for revenge.

At stake match in Koszalin was the first place in the group. Polish women have had to cope without injured Carolina Kudłacz-Gloc, Iwona Bear and Alina Wojtas. Especially the lack of captain “White-red” was a big weakness.

Pole started from scoring wing Catherine Kołodziejska. Later, however, four goals in a row won rivals. The impotence of our team finally broke Patrycja Kulwińska effective throw from the wheel. Moments later contact goal won the King Achruk (3-4). “White-red” again, happened to be a period of weaker games, which made use of Hungarian, which led 7-2 after 12 minutes.

Pole started in pursuit. Good change in goal gave Veronica Gawlik (replacing Anna Wysokińska). Several of its successful intervention gave wings “White-red.” Węgierek advantage melted and after 20 minutes Marta Gega led to a 9-9 tie.

The housekeepers were in trouble when the two-minute punishment “caught” Kulwińska. Matters into his own hands took Siódmiak Carolina, which perfectly cast from a distance. At the end of the Hungarian led by one goal (13-12). Individual action show off Achruk, which “broke” by the defense and forced to capitulate Hungarian bramkarkę. The first half ended in a draw 13-13.

The beginning of the second half was not the best performance in the “White-red.” Polka committed a lot of errors and even Gawlik was not able to stop rushing Węgierek. In 39 minutes, rivals led 20-16. Coach Rasmussen asked for time. Words coach did not work for our handball. Loss Margaret Stasiak ended in Contra goal and Ildiko Erdősi. In another action he committed a foul in the attack of Alexander Zych. In the 40th minute Stasiak finally threw the score (17-21).

Again, Poles had to chase the result. “White-red” close the gap to two goals in the 45th minute thanks to throw from a distance Achruk. Patterns our team thwarted punishment for Marty Gegi. The period of the game with a reduced Poles lost 0-2, and it does not have to be so, if Carolina Zalewska advantage of a great situation. Our wing lead, but the post.

Poles eagerly, because time ran relentlessly, but the Hungarian maintain a safe advantage. Five minutes before the end on the board was the result of 26-22 for rivals. In addition, well-defended Eva Kiss. Even a glimmer of hope gave Kobylińska. Piroska Pappne Szamoransky quickly deprived us of illusions, making the projection of 6 meters.

Matches with Węgierkami are general test charges Kim Rasmussen before commencing March 18 tournament in Russia’s Astrakhan, where the Poles will fight for promotion for the Olympic Games in Rio with Russia, Sweden and Mexico.

Carolina Kudłacz-Gloc (captain of the Polish national team, did not play because of injury) – was a struggle. After a rather unfortunate beginnings in both halves potrafiłyśmy find themselves on the pitch and have fought on. Hungarian were not too good today dispatched and were the most to overcome. It’s a shame that it did not we used. They run unless belief in victory. Apparently dochodziłyśmy rivals, but it was all so at 50 percent.

Carolina Siódmiak (setter Polish national team): – We lacked efficiency in attack, we should play tough defense. If it were not the result would be totally different. Pozwoliłyśmy jump on their rivals with five goals early in the first half. A similar scenario was in the second, but this time we managed to catch up with rivals. Certainly we missed Carolina Kudłacz, who is the leader of representation. But there are 16 of us and each of us tried to give everything. Today marginally better were Hungarian, I hope that in return we will be on top.
