"radosław cierzniak will represent the colors of the Legion already during the spring part of the competition. The experienced goalkeeper has signed a contract with our club, which will enter into force already now "- he said on Monday capital club.

At the end of January Cierzniak involved with the Legion of three-year contract, taking effect in July, after the expiry of his current contract with the Vistula. The situation has however changed on March 2, when the House Committee. Sport Dispute Resolution at the Football Association terminated a contract player with the Krakow club. This meant that Cierzniak is a free player.

On Monday the goalkeeper, who in April over 33 years, has signed a new contract with Legia, valid from now. The team leader of the league will be played with the number 33.

"It's a great feeling. I think at this moment almost every player from the Polish league would hit the Łazienkowska" - said Cierzniak was quoted as saying on the club website.

"For me uneasy time, so I'm glad that everything ended happily. I focus on what's in front of me. I am honored that I can be in a place to which I came," - he added.

In the current season, goalkeeper played 21 matches in the colors of the Vistula. In the past he performed Amica Wronki Korona Kielce and Scottish Dundee United.

At the beginning of February, the Krakow club moved him to the reserves. The player then directed the matter to the House Committee. Sport Dispute Resolution at the Football Association. March 2nd Chamber terminated the contract with the Vistula Cierzniaka. The decision was made immediately enforceable.

The Krakow club categorically opposed to this decision.

"We strongly protest against the situation in which decisions are made without taking into account proposals of all parties concerned - in this case without taking into account the conclusions of our club (...). It seems that the decision was taken before the start of meeting, and the Vistula at a crucial stage of the proceedings had no opportunity to fully present their position. Chamber (...) did not take into consideration new circumstances that have occurred in the case, including the restoration of (...) radosław cierzniak to train with the first team "- written in the last Wednesday in a statement river.

The Krakow club added that it is ready for further action, including the use of international arbitration and recourse to the courts.
